FREE Redmond PD Child Safety Class
The Redmond Police Department will be presenting a FREE Child Safety class
on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. It will be held at the Public Safety
Building Training Room (8701 160th Avenue NE). Suggested age range is 6-12
and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Topics to be covered
include:
Who exactly is a stranger and what crimes do they usually commit?
Calling for Emergency help.
Who abducts children and how they lure them.
Creating a safety plan.
What to do if someone tries to grab you.
Safety while on the internet.
