Dear Families,
This was a short week, and now we are off on a much deserved break as we honor our US Presidents with an extended weekend. I do hope you are able to enjoy some family time during this brief respite. There is a lot on our calendar coming up this spring so keep watching your PTSA e-News for important information.
Have a wonderful week!
Karen Dickens Don’t forget these important dates! 2/16, 17 & 20 Mid-Winter Break holiday, no school 2/23/12 Science Fair, 6:30 pm 3/16/12 LEAP Day, no school for students
Trail to Audubon: If you use the trail that leads to the Audubon campus (near the greenhouse and portables), you will see some new signs posted. These signs are meant as a reminder for the general public that there is no access via that trail and across our campus during school hours. Students and families coming to or leaving Audubon may continue to use this trail. It is important, though, that folks do not walk dogs on our campus to access the trail during the hours when students are present, including before and after school. Reminder: Parents, please remember that while teachers are in classrooms during the instructional day they are not always able to stop and chat, particularly if students are in the area. If students are not present, teachers are usually operating with very little planning time to get tasks accomplished. Please be respectful of their time by emailing to set up an agreed upon time for a meeting, either before or after school. That way you benefit by giving the teachers time to prepare for your meeting with work samples or reports on progress, and also receive their undivided and complete attention.
