Audubon PTSA Nominations Committee Needs YOU!
. . .and the Audubon PTSA Executive Board Nominations go to . . . No, it's not the Golden Globes or the Oscars but you could live the glamorous life enriching the lives of the students, staff and families of Audubon by becoming a VP for one of the following open positions on the Executive Board for the 2010-2011 school year.
VP of Student Services
If you have an eye for leading the hearing and vision screening team, the emergency prep team, if you ever wanted to direct traffic during morning drop off, needed to let your Martha Stewart side shine for Staff appreciation, or if you can Strike a pose like nobody's business, then this team needs you to guide them in these endeavors.
Treasurer
According to Mr. Webster this is the person responsible for running the treasury of an organization, we thought about using the classic "Show me the MONEY!" line, but it such a cliche!
VP of Fundraising
Raising money for the school so the Treasurer has something to do! It's a win win!
VP of Events
Back to school BBQ, Ice cream Social, International night, Math Night, Skate King, Spring Dance! More than 1/2 of these events involve food, what's not to love being their VP??!!
Seriously, the Nomination Committee's role is to identify and nominate exceptional parents willing to be on the 2010-2011 Audubon PTSA Executive Board. There are detailed job descriptions on Audubon's PTSA website:
http://audubonpta.org/descriptions.aspx. All of these positions can be shared, except Treasurer, so you can work with a partner to spread out the responsibilities. These positions with the exception of Treasurer, have chair positions in place so that you have a team of parents working together to make Audubon a better school and environment for our kids.
