This demands more time but saves money. | Local Stores which normally run school supply sales. | | Office DEPOT | Target | Staples | | Fred Meyer |
General | | Start watching the ads from Staples and Target, as well as Office Max and Office Depot starting in mid-July. If you are armed with your school supply list, you can watch the ads and get each item when it's on sale. For the last couple of years, I've paid 1 cent for each ream of paper, 25 cents or less for a box of crayons (sometimes they are free with the purchase of markers at Target). | | The heavy duty binders don't usually go on sale, but they do offer them buy 2 get 1 free at Staples, plus they have had double Box Tops on them. | | Markers - I usually end up getting at Target for maybe 50 cents a box. I think last year Target ended up having glue sticks on sale for 20 cents for a pack of 2. | Colored pocket folders can be bought usually for less than 10 cents each (that was another item that Staples offered for 1 cent, with a max of 10...but you can go more than once in a week!). |
