!School Supplies on Amazon!

Summer is blinking on us every now and then. It is time for water sports, beaches, camping, summer camps or just lazing in the sun. While you enjoy the summer remember to purchase the school supplies for the next school year!

Don't have time to get to stores and get all the supplies? As a convinience to Audubon parents, Audubon PTSA has put together a store on Amazon that has all the grade-wise supplies. The supply list was sent with your child's report card. The supply lists are also available online click here.

Have the time to check out stores &
get the best deals possible??

Our wonderful parents have been kind to share some useful tips to buy the supplies at great discounts from popular stores. This demands more time but saves money.

Start watching the ads from Staples and Target, as well as Office Max and Office Depot starting in mid-July. If you are armed with your school supply list, you can watch the ads and get each item when it's on sale. For the last couple of years, I've paid 1 cent for each ream of paper, 25 cents or less for a box of crayons (sometimes they are free with the purchase of markers at Target).

The heavy duty binders don't usually go on sale, but they do offer them buy 2 get 1 free at Staples, plus they have had double Box Tops on them.

Markers - I usually end up getting at Target for maybe 50 cents a box. I think last year Target ended up having glue sticks on sale for 20 cents for a pack of 2.

Colored pocket folders can be bought usually for less than 10 cents each (that was another item that Staples offered for 1 cent, with a max of 10...but you can go more than once in a week!).
